Tips and activities

  • Students are required to complete a gratitude journal every day and are provided with some sentence starters to prompt their thinking.
  • Students are participating in 'accountability challenges' such as completing as many steps as possible in one hour and sit up challenges. Students provide evidence of their active achievements through a parent sign off or a screen shot of a phone app such as a step tracker.
  • Students are tasked with 'peer coaching' where they can run a PE lesson and teach their parents or family members. This helps them keep active and practise their communication skills by playing the 'teacher'.
